The Student Government Association works on a committee system.
There are three types of committees that any SGA member or student can serve on.
Standing Committees are the permanent committees of the Student Government Association. Their membership and charges are outlined in the SGA Constitution and By-Laws.
Ad-Hoc Committees are temporary committees charged by the SGA President or the University President. These are usually charged to address one single issue.
University Committees are permanent committees of the University of Central Arkansas. Their membership and charges are outlined in various University Governing documents including the Faculty and Staff Handbooks and the Board Policies.
